Fantastic Mr Fox

"Boggis and Bunce and Bean, One short, one fat, one lean. These horrible crooks, so different in looks, were nonetheless equally mean."

Just got back from the cinema from watching Fantastic Mr Fox and in the words of Mrs Fox "Everthing about this is crazy. Especially him. But that doesn't make it any more fantastic."

Screenplay by Wes Anderson and originally Henry Selick but he left to direct Coraline.
I personally feel George Clooney steals the show, I've always been a massive fan of stop motion animation with the nightmare before christmas being one of my favourite films, though this style of animation is very quirky. I don't really know what I was expecting but unlike the cleaness and profession look of animation done by pixar and disney I really enjoyed the sort of arthouse of animation, if there is such a category.
I loved how they kept with the reality of the build of the foxes when in scenes with the humans but then made them larger in there own scenes with the other animals.

Go watch it! It'll take you back to your childhood with the delightful stories of Roald Dahl
